IL CASTELLO DI CISTERNA Il Castello è ubicato in un piccolo borgo rurale denominato Cisterna, frazione di Gualdo Cattaneo, in Umbria, Italia, ad una altitudine di 440 metri s.l.m. sulla sommità di una collina che si affaccia sulla Valle dei Puglia e del Tevere. Esso é inserito in una estensione totale di bosco di macchia mediterranea con querce, cerri, ornelli, carpini, pini silvestri, lecci, corbezzoli, ginepri e ginestre; la presenza di campi coltivati è molto ridotta. Si può parlare di un'ambiente quasi incontaminato con piena godibilità della natura; la zona é molto ricca di sentieri anche segnati. L'area del Castello è tranquilla, ideale per una vacanza indimenticabile, con una vista panoramica sui boschi circostanti, gli alberi di olivo e su un piccolo fiume chiamato "Fiume Puglia", che si trova a 5 km. dal fiume Tevere. Tutto l'ambiente circostante è incontaminato. Fuori dal Castello c'è una piccola piazza con 2 chiese e 3 case. C'è molto vedere nei dintorni: Deruta (10km), Perugia (30 km), Assisi (20 km), Gubbio (50 km), Todi (20 km), Trevi (35 km), Spello (30 km), Spoleto (35 km), Lago Trasimeno (45 km), Cortona (55 km), Orvieto (45 km), Firenze (175 km), Roma (140 km) e molte altre piccole città antiche molto vicine al Castello. ATTIVITA' E' possibile andare in bicicletta e pescare, fare equitazione, degustare i vini locali, fare passeggiatenei boschi circostanti ricchi di bacini d'acqua e stagni. Hanno luogo molte feste, sagre, ed eventi di vario tipo nei posti circostanti al Castello. Tutti gli appartamenti nel castello sono forniti di ogni comfort (TV, lavatrice) e confortevoli per 4+un bambino; tutti i letti sono di grande taglia, i letti a una piazza sono extra-large ed ogni appartamento ha una superficie di mq.60. Ogni stanza è grande all'incirca mq.13 e confortevole per due persone, tutte le stanze contengono pezzi d'antiquariato ed ogni stanza ha una o due finestre con una splendida vista. I soffitti sono costruiti con travi e mattoni. Ogni appartamento ha il suo bagno proprio con box doccia, una finestra, un specchio grande con particolari in marmo e travertino. Non c'è bisogno di aria condizionata perché lo spessore delle mura è di circa 1 metro ed oltre, l'aria è asciutta e durante la notte la temperatura è di 21-24C (intorno 70 F).	CISTERNA CASTLE Situated in the Commune of Gualdo Cattaneo, Umbria, Italy, at the border of the Commune of Deruta, famous for its potteries and ceramics. The Castle area is peaceful, ideal for unforgettable holidays, with a panoramic view of the surrounding woods, olive trees and small river called "Fiume Puglia" and is 5 miles from the Tiber river. Around it, plenty of woods: pines, oaks, strawberry tree, brooms and rosemary bushes. An almost untouched environment. All the surrounding environment is uncontaminated. Outside the Castle there is a small plaza with 2 churches and 3 houses. The Castle is in the middle of the Umbria Region so you will need a car if you like to move around freely. There is a lot to see near: Deruta (10km), in Perugia (30 km), Assisi (20 km), Gubbio(50 km),Todi (20 km), Trevi (35 km), Spello (30 km),Spoleto (35 km ), Trasimeno lake (45 km),Cortona(55 km), Orvieto (45 km), Florence (175 km), Rome (140 km) and many other small old towns very near the Castle. ACTIVITIES It is possible to bike and go fishing, horseback riding and there is a wine trail and country walks in the near woods with swimming pools and ponds. There are a lots of feasts, local festivals (sagre), and events always going on somewhere near the Castle... All flats in the castle are well furnished (TV, washing machine) and confortable for 4+one child; all beds are king-size, single beds are extra large and every apartment has a surface of about 60 m2. Every room is large at about 13 m2 and comformable for two persons, all rooms are furnished with nice antiques and each room has one or two windows with a wonderful view. The ceilings are built with beams and bricks. Every apartment has its own bathroom with shower stall, a window, a large mirror with marble/travertino detail. We don't need air-condition because the thickness of walls is about 1 meter or more, air is dry and in the night the mean temperature is about 21-24 C.(around 70 F).

La proprietà che fa parte dell'affitto è formata da una torre e da una mezza porzione del Castello con 3 appartamenti. Appartamento al piano terra: ha tre stanze composte da una camera da letto, bagno e cucina e sala multi-funzione con focolare con la tipica volta ad arco, con accesso diretto al giardino di olivi ed al barbecue. Appartamento del primo piano: due camere da letto, una cucina piccola, un soggiorno con un focolare ed un bagno. L'appartamento del secondo piano è molto simile a appartamento del primo piano. Il terzo piano ha un solarium comune tra i merli del Castello dove puoi avere un panorama a 360° per 20-30 miglia; è fornito di tavole, sedie e barbecue.	The Rental Propriety consists of a tower and half portion of the Castle with 3 apartments. Ground floor apartment has three rooms consisting of one bedroom, bathroom and the (original brick arch) multi-function kitchen and living room with fireplace with direct access to the olive tree garden and barbecue. First floor apartment has two bedrooms, a small kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and a bathroom. Second floor apartment is very similar to first floor apartment. Third floor has a common solarium with the battlements of the Castle where you can see 360 landscape for 20-30 miles; it is furnished with tables, chairs and barbecue.

SCHLOß CISTERNA Das Schloß Cisterna ist Mittelpunkt eines kleinen Flecten ca. 440 m.ü.M. gelegen und dominiert das Tal der Tevere und der Puglia. Zur römischen Zeit war es womöglich eine Festungsanlage zurn Schutze der Via Flaminia. Das heutige Schloß entstand im 12.Jhd auf den Ruinen einer Burg des Kaisers Barbarossa. Im Schutzes des Burgherren siedelten sich Bauern in der Umgebund des Schlosses an und ihre Häuser bilden heute diesen kleinen "Borgo". Der große Eichenwald, die Mittelmeermacchia, der Corbezzolo umrahmen das Anwesen und bei klarer Sicht können Sie his zum Lago Trasimeno sehen. Wir haben schöne Wanderrouten Air Sie ausgesucht, auf denen Sie rund um das Schloß Natur und Kultur entdecken können. Drei Ferienwohnungen wurden ausgebaut, wovon die kleinere im Erdgeschloß einen hübschen eigenen Garten hat; die beiden anderen teilen sich die Turmterrasse. Alle Wohnungen sind großzügig und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Die schönen Wohn-und Eßzimmer haben eine eingebaute KUchenzeile und einen Kamin.	CHATEAU DE CISTERNA Le chateau se situe dans un petit bourg, appellé Cisterna, écart de Gualdo Cattaneo avec une altitude de 440 m. sur le niveau de la met sur le sommet d'une colline, qui se montre sur la vallée du Puglia et sur une ampie partie du moyen bassin du Tevere. Le chateau se trouve dans une étendue totale de bois de maquis mediterranéen avec ses chenes chevelues, ses channes, ses yeuses, ses genevriers et ses genets: on peut le considerer un endroite presque incontaminé. Le sejour chez le chateau permet au touriste: le contact avec la nature typique des ambiences collinaires; la possibilité de pratiquer des activités sportives (peche et trekking et de faire des excursions à court ou moyen rayon dans de sites d' interet historique, culturel et paysagistique: Deruta, G. Cattaneo et ses chateaux, Todi, Montefalco, Bevagna, Assisi, Foligno, Spello, Trevi, Fonti del Clitunno, Spoleto, Perugia, dans un rayon de 30 km.
